Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all courier or delivery services provided by Courrier Atomic ("Atomic Courier"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Services offered

Atomic Courier offers six service tiers: DIRECT (60 min), URGENT (90 min), AM/PM (by 5 PM), REGULAR (180 min), ECONO (next business day by 5:30 PM), and PALLETS (up to 3,000 lb). Delivery times are calculated from pickup, subject to traffic and weather conditions.

2. Pricing

Rates are based on service tier, distance, weight, and volume. A detailed quote is provided on request; for account customers, the agreed rate schedule applies.

3. Fuel surcharge

Since 2003, a fuel surcharge has been applied to road shipments. It is reviewed on the first Monday of each month based on data published by the Régie de l'énergie du Québec. The current rate is available on request.

4. Payment

Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Weekly or monthly billing for account customers (sent by email or fax). Payments are due within 30 days of billing, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Liability

Atomic Courier exercises reasonable care in handling your shipments. Our maximum liability in case of loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the contents, up to CAD $100 per shipment, unless additional insurance has been expressly purchased and billed.

We are not liable for delays caused by: exceptional weather conditions, force majeure events, incomplete or incorrect addresses provided by the shipper, or recipient unavailability at the time of delivery.

6. Excluded items

The following items are excluded from transport: hazardous materials, illegal goods, negotiable securities, cash, uninsured jewelry, perishable goods without prior agreement, fragile items not packed to our specifications. Full list available on request.

7. Delivery confirmation

Every delivery is confirmed online via your customer account. A signature may be required at destination depending on the nature of the shipment.

8. Cancellation

An order can be cancelled free of charge before pickup. Cancellation after pickup will be billed at the rate of the service rendered.

9. Claims

Any claim for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 5 business days following delivery, to info@atomiccourrier.ca.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and Canada. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of the judicial district of Longueuil.

11. Changes

Atomic Courier reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the site.
